​CRIMINAL DEFENSE AND EXPUNGEMENTS

Our office strongly advocates for our clients charged with indictable offenses, disorderly persons offenses and petty disorderly persons offenses in all of the Superior Courts throughout New Jersey. Our vigorous representation commences with the representation at detention motions, preparation of motions to reconsider conditions of pre-trial release, release from the state prisons and county jails due to COVID 19, review of the discovery and exploration of defenses to the charges. From the commencement of the filing of the Complaint and through an Indictment being returned, our representation of our clients includes the investigation and retention of experts; exploration of all defenses available to the charges, to include diminished capacity, insanity and other psychiatric defenses and alibi defenses; preparation of the filing and hearing on all the necessary motions to defend the charges; presentation of our defense at trial commencing from jury selection through the conclusion of the jury trial; and the filing of all post trial motions.

MUNICIPAL COURT DEFENSE

Our law office has continued to provide aggressive representation of our clients in all New Jersey municipal court violations, traffic violations, DUI, DWI (blood alcohol, alcohol consumption and narcotics), disorderly persons offenses and petty disorderly persons offenses throughout the State. Our effective representation of our clients includes the review of discovery and retention of DUI and DWI experts; exploration of defenses; plea negotiations; the filing and hearing on motions to suppress evidence; and representation of our clients at trial.

The new law, the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory, Enforcement Assistant and Marketplace Modernization Act, legalized recreational possession and use of marijuana under 6 ounces and possession of 17 grams or less of hashish and possession of drug paraphernalia in New Jersey. The underage possession of marijuana and alcohol have also been changed to now require a warning and parental notification and referral to community services for subsequent violations. Attorney General Grewal of New Jersey issued a directive, effective on February 22, 2021, requiring the dismissal of all pending possession of marijuana, hashish and drug paraphernalia cases. The directive of the Attorney General of New Jersey also mandated the vacating of prior convictions and diversions relating to possession of marijuana, possession of hashish and drug paraphernalia cases.

FAMILY COURT

Our law office has continued to provide advocacy in our representation of our clients in the Family Courts in family court litigation involving custody (legal and physical custody); visitation and grandparent visitation with the filing of motions and appearing at the hearing in the Family Courts. Our representation of our clients in domestic violence proceedings commences with the issuance of the Temporary Restraining Order and through the issuance of the Final Restraining Order at the final hearing.  


LANDLORD TENANT DISPUTES

With the commencement of the pandemic of COVID 19, Governor Murphy issued an Executive Order 106 staying eviction proceedings and there currently is a moratorium on evictions. Given the stay of eviction proceedings in the Superior Courts until 2021, the Courts have commenced mediation and conferences of pending landlord tenant actions in the Superior Courts of New Jersey. Our law office has now expanded our representation of our clients to handle landlord tenant disputes. Our office continues to provide counsel and advice to our clients in pending landlord tenant actions in order to achieve the best results.           




TRUSTS AND ESTATES, DISABILITY AND ADVOCACY FOR LONG HAULERS POST COVID 19  

Our law office continues to provide representation to our clients in the preparation of Wills and all different types of Trusts, Living Wills and Powers of Attorney. With the commencement of the COVID 19 pandemic, our office has been involved in the preparation of Advanced Directive for Health Care and Living Wills tailored to meet the needs of our clients. We provide services of the preparation of Halachic Living Wills in accordance with jewish law and in the preparation of Advanced Directive for Health Care to address those clients with mental health issues and tailored to our client's needs.

Our law office continues to provide advocacy to our clients and representation in Probate matters from the probate of a Will and appointment of the Executor, to the administration of the estate, to handling estate and probate matters in the County Surrogate's Offices. Our representation extends to contested proceedings and to uncontested matters in the Chancery Division. Our law office provides advocacy to our clients seeking to file Guardianship proceedings for a family member in the Chancery Division of the Superior Courts of New Jersey. 

Our law office continues to provide compassionate representation of clients suffering from disabilities and to mental health issues with our expertise in these areas and now extended to the needs of the long haulers community.
